Responsible for the defined work or project mainly including:
1. Effectively follow up projects, such as NPD from start to launch, RFQ, Resourcing, VA/VE 2. Execute sourcing strategy and Improve business relationship with suppliers 3. Improve supplier performance in terms of QDCRT (quality, delivery, cost, response, technical support) 4. Source new product and new supplier with guidance by Senior Sourcing Manager
Primary Responsibilities: Projects Follow-Ups 30% 84 Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders (Bristol Sourcing and Product Development team ) for direction to execute the whole process effectively and efficiently as for the projects including NPD ( approvals and sampling as required), RFQ (cost & price analysis), Resourcing, VA/VE, etc 89 Especially, NPD On-Time launch (the 1st shipment) 84 Source new product and new supplier with guidance by Senior Sourcing Manager
Supplier Management 30% 84 As a KEY contact, manage and improve day-to-day relationship with suppliers 84 Manage the supply issue in a right priority, by means of supplier scorecard 84 Improve supplier’s delivery performance while working with supply chain, and or Quality/ENG 84 Support in solving supplier quality/compliance issues through driving supplier’s execution on the corrective action plan and policies/procedures 84 Supplier performance regular review 84 Execute sourcing strategy
Commercial 20% 84 As instructed by Senior Sourcing Manager, follow up commercial discussion with supplier such as NDA, tooling agreement, payment term, MOQ, lead time, delivery term etc 84 Support Senior Sourcing Manager in conducting supplier commercial assessment
Cost Saving 10% 84 Assist Senior Sourcing Manager to identify and provide year on year costs savings through sourcing new suppliers, negotiation and value engineering activities etc
Required Qualifications: Provide the minimum qualifications, knowledge and skills required to perform the role 61 Bachelor Degree qualified in a business-related discipline. 61 At least 6 years of progressive experiences in supply management, familiar with Tabletop manufacturing process or supplier base 61 Good communication, strong commercial sense and analytical skill, 61 Detail-oriented and accountable team player 61 Able to work under pressure 61 Well-developed written and verbal skills in English 61 Good computer software skill in MS office, ERP Knowledge
Preferred: Job specifications that may be used to enhance the success of the candidate can be stated as ‘preferred’ 61 Experience in Retail Buying, Consumer Product Managements, Manufacturing Management, and/or Merchandising functions, preferably in Tabletop related product lines such as Flatware 61 Cross functional project management experience
Travel Requirements: 61 Required to travel by car, air, train up to 15% of the time; mostly domestic
