Responsibilities: 61 Manage and review engagement contracts and other commercial agreements, including MSA/LCAs and IT licensing. 61 Provide timely and pro-active legal advice on a range of commercial issues, including data privacy, intellectual property, cross border issues. 61 Provide legal advice on employment matters. 61 Advice to service lines on legal and regulatory risks associated with engagements. 61 Work closely with Risk Management Team to ensure compliance with new laws and regulations. 61 Provide supports on corporate transactions and acquisitions. 61 Handle company secretarial matters. 61 Handle litigation or governmental investigation matters which may arise from time to time.
To qualify, you must meet the following requirements: 61 University law degree and admitted to practice as a lawyer in PRC. 61 Minimum 5 years of post-qualification legal experience, ideally including both international law firm and in-house experience with an international financial services organization. 61 Solid commercial/corporate experience with strong drafting skills. 61 Strong commercial awareness, understanding of business, corporate governance and regulatory issues. 61 Extensive experience in dealing with labor disputes. 61 Fluency in both English and Chinese. 61 Flexible team player, strategic thinker, solutions-oriented, problem solver. 61 Being a quick learner and willing to face new challenges.
