Purpose/Role Summary: The Product Development Manager is responsible for leading teams to provide technology development, product design and validation, product optimization and other product life cycle related technical services for US fixture & bathing market.
Key Accountabilities: 1. Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and related industry and plumbing specifications. 2. Support new product development and launches in accordance to Delta established stage gate process and standard methodologies 3. Staff engineering resources to execute projects on time, on budget and to product/customer specifications within area of responsibility 4. Work with other departments & management & US Contact parts to assist with product category & technology strategy, product planning, and project status communication 5. Analyze work, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects with an eye for business and capabilities perspective 6. Actively develop and maintain a high‐performing technical staff, complete performance evaluations, goal setting, and personal development plans for direct reports 7. Assess new product and manufacturing technologies for possible integration into existing products and manufacturing processes, to drive cost competitiveness 8. Sets up, reenforce & continuous improvement for work processes

Critical Skills/Knowledge 1. Candidate has 8+ years’ experience in product development, has demonstrated mastery in manufacturing processes, product design, material science and etc. 2. Has demonstrated leadership to bring right individual, teams and entities together to achieve organizational goals. Show a bias for action and sense of urgency 3. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to handle a variety of tasks 4. Good written and oral English communication skills. Articulate strong relational skills and the ability to communicate successfully across all levels of the organization. 5. Shown ability to be a “self-starter” with strong analytical and problem-solving skills 6. This position requires a BS degree in an engineering discipline. Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or similar field, graduated from 985/211 universities. 7. Experience in fixture & bathing industry 8. Experience in engineering service provide & cooperation with oversea customers & suppliers
