Responsibilities: 1、Support the function’s head and team members in establishing and implementing any 7 Eleven Product Technology initiatives related to own brand product integrity and related Group and local business needs 2、Support all aspects of 7 Eleven Product Technology strategic planning, both short-term and long-term 3、Provide input for the selection of appropriate and competent Suppliers, 3rd party service providers to support the implementation of Own Brand 3 Steps to Quality Program 4、Coach and support BU and Banner team members to ensure that there is a consistent understanding of Group Technical policies, SOP, and Guidelines 5、Participate in and facilitate internal training/briefing sessions to enhance knowledge. 6、Ensure that the 3rd party supplier sites meet DFI’s expectations and standards per the strategic direction. 7、Support Group and local Procurement and Brand Teams through product development and product improvement without compromising on quality 8、Ensure that all products meet all legal requirements, product quality, and safety standards. 9、Analyze, recommend, and communicate quality performance to related parties effectively 10、Improve product quality against industry or international standards to help build DFI’s Supplier, Product, and Surveillance monitoring programs 11、Support the function’s head to participate in the technical network, connections with the government or non-government agencies; specialist/experts, internal stakeholders (e.g. Legal, BU, and Banner team members) and outsourced international organizations, certification bodies, suppliers, technical or commercial associations, institutes, governmental bodies to proactively review and plan of any new regulatory requirements and industry QA trends. Update the organization with the most prevalent, high-risk Quality, Safety, or Legality challenges in retail, suggest solutions, and build procedures to mitigate risk/impact on businesses 12) Be involved in or stand by Group Technical Crisis Management. Ensure that the process, communication, and management of the issue are documented and that full due diligence is executed to support the business
Requirements: 1、Minimum 10 years of work experience in related fields; retail business managing the “Ready to Eat” Categories, mainly salad, bakery, sandwiches, meals, dim sum, and other ready-to-eat products in quality, food safety, and technical-related roles. 2、Strong knowledge in applied microbiology, risk assessment and HACCP implementation, Food Safety, Regulatory requirements & product label requirements, 3、Experience with compliance and risk assessment in food production processes of “Ready to Eat” products and Quality Management Systems, such as BRC, GMP, are an advantage. Able to conduct thorough inspections of production processes and identify improvement opportunities. 4、Familiar with laboratory practices and methodology used in food analysis and testing 5、Familiar with local product standards, regulatory requirements, and registration of Asian markets 6、Strong knowledge of EU regulations / Codex regulations 7、Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and retailer technical practices of “Ready-to-eat” products. 8、Experience developing, implementing, and certification GMP, HACCP, and certified Scheme Food Safety Management Systems. 9、Strong troubleshooting skills to address production issues efficiently. Manage customer complaints, investigations, and troubleshooting.
