The role sits in the Standard Charted Financial Markets Trade Management team focusing on the build out of the in-house strategic cross asset risk platform: SABRE (Standard Chartered Analytics Booking and Risk Engine), which is the bank’s strategic platform for trade processing, valuation and market. It consists in designing and delivering solutions to the users of this platform with an initial focus onboarding new products, driving enhancement solutions, planning project timelines and working with multiple stakeholders such as users and developers to achieve desired outcome. As the main focus of the role is on the Trade Data Store (TDS2), experience in trade booking, lifecycling and how a trade prices using static or market data is preferable. This would also require basic understanding of the financial products booked in the trades, with emphasis on FX (swaps, forwards, NDFs, etc) and IR products (eg. Repo and bonds). The role will be required to provide third-level business support for issues in trade replication, and also project enhancements for Front Office traders’ requirements.
