Purpose: Products targeting the US market, collaborating with the US headquarters team, to carry out value engineering work such as product structure design optimization, new material validation and application, and new process research and development. Responsibilities: 1. Develop validation plans according to relevant requirements to verify the feasibility of value engineering ideas. 2. Develop new material and process application in faucet and shower industry. Implement new solutions through engineering change management. 3. Develop value engineering ideas and implement them through the creation of 3D designs and 2D drawings. 4. Project management for the on-going projects. 5. Communicate with suppliers and the US team to advance project implementation. 6. Apply PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) related procedures and principles to approve the development of new products.
Key Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree or above 2. At least five years of work experience in engineering roles, with at least three years of recent experience in product structural design. 3. Proficient in using CAD software such as Pro/E, AutoCAD, etc. 4. Good written and spoken English communication skills.
Better Qualifications 1. Graduation from a university listed in the 211 Project or above is a plus. 2. Experience in precision metal parts machining, mold design and manufacturing, automotive parts, plumbing products, or related industries is preferred. 3. Good organizational skills for value engineering-related activities, maintaining effective communication and collaboration with suppliers and partners at the US headquarters. 4. Knowledgeable in mechanical design, product design, and the basics of PPAP.
