Position Summary:
Responsible for product design & development, manufacturing process improvement and trouble shooting of new product development.
Universal Accountabilities:
1.Participate in product design and development process of new razors in PRC plant.
2.Interact with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field. Ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner.
3.Prepare and updates all manufacturing procedures, product information such as drawings, process sheets and product specifications.
4.Explore new material, new vendor and process to enhance razor manufacturing in PRC. Develop new ideas and inventions for use in products.
5.Facilitate the start up, production trial and trouble shooting of new razors manufacturing.
6.Improve existing manufacturing processes, equipment for better and consistent product quality, higher efficiency and lower cost.
7.Plan and coordinate engineering initiatives to facilitate the new razor development in meeting project schedule, specifications, cost and associated spending budget with good quality, document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients
8.Carry out other related duties
Required Skills and Experience:
1.B.S. degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
2.Proven working experience as a Design/Project Engineer.
3.Less experience in design field will be considered as junior position.
4.Excellent communication skills, good command of both written and spoken in English.
5.Skilled in CAD(Pro/Engineer). Good knowledge of tolerance and quality inspection, design failure modes & effects analysis(DFMEA).
6.Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
7.Strong time management and analytical skills
