We are looking for a proven leader with the fortitude and drive to dig deep into processes and systems across departments to help optimize our compliance processes and systems between our internal organization and our factory partners. Responsibilities: 1. Manage day to day operations of the Asia team for all packaging and labeling compliance needs and requirements, including new projects and system implementations. 1) Develop and implement compliance strategies and protocols for packaging and labelling with the team in the US and Asia. Support project for GTC from Asia. 2) Lead the team to update packing instruction to Tier1 factories, BU teams. Optimize the structure of packing instruction every two years. 3) Stay updated with the latest laws, regulations and industry standards related to packaging and labelling. 4) Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, material, and legal departments, to ensure compliance in all aspects of packaging and labelling. 5) Provide guidance and training to relevant departments, BU teams, Tier1 and Tier2 suppliers on compliance requirements and best practices. 6) Respond to compliance inquiries and complaints related to packaging and labelling from regions and customer. 7) Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes and systems with director. 8) Mange discussion between factory teams, factories and global org to determine priorities and approach to develop best in class factory compliance. 9) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand factory and business needs and requirements as part of factory compliance roadmap ownership. 10) Drive improvements to systems and processes as the compliance function lead in Asia for requirement gathering and testing. 2. Manage compliance processes and discussion between the factory and Deckers factory teams, and the Deckers global compliance function. 1) Mange discussion between factory teams, factories and global org to determine priorities and approach to develop best in class factory compliance. 2) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand factory and business needs and requirements as part of factory compliance roadmap ownership. 3. Drive traceability process improvements and coordination with the factories based on updated regulations and requirements across our global footprint. 1) Collaborate with factory and related teams to determine and implement the global traceability strategy, working along with the global team to do so. 2) Review industry standards and discuss with global team to determine factory input for global roadmap. Qualifications: 1. 10+ years of related areas of focus in a high growth cross-functional environment with a large product portfolio or comparable relevant experience. (Footwear, Apparel, or Fashion experience preferred) 2. Excellent quantitative analytical skills, creativity in problem solving and a keen business sense. 3. Strong written and verbal communications, presentation, and facilitation skills; and the ability to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English. 4. Well-rounded interpersonal skill set with the capacity to build strong relationships with all levels of the organization. 5. High level Microsoft Office applications proficiency. 6. Understanding of HTS codes and duty impact. 7. Experience managing regional labeling requirements platform a plus. 8. Experience implementing Enterprise Labeling application a plus.
