Company introduction Guangzhou Home Heritage (广州传时商贸有限公司) is a 100% foreign capital chinese trading company (WOFE). It’s owned by French renowned Group Home Heritage Vêtements and it is directly under the general management of French head office. In order to strengthen our business development in China we are looking for professional garment merchandisers join our teams in Guangzhou.Purpose is to convert our FOB orders into production feasible styles and support local factories to do CM business for us. It involves paper pattern development, fabric usage calculation, fabrics and trims development, tech files translations. It also requires tight production schedule control and on-site supply chain monitoring with the support of local QCs and factories managers. Job description for Merchandiser Source factories for CMT Calculate garment price breakdowns. Coordinate with paper pattern master to calculate fabric usage Develop and nominate trims and fabrics Negotiate prices. Control lead time. Communicate with factories and buyers and find solutions to issues that may arise during production. Liaise with forwarder, laboratory or inspection company. Coordinate with QCs or third parties for inspection before shipment. Requirements: - Bachelor degree major in Textile industry and/or strong technical and industrial experience - At least 5 years work experience as merchandiser in textiles industry - Capable to work independently - High sense of responsibility and service orientated mindset. - Mobility to go to factories in China. Salary Negotiable Active remuneration package, including china social welfare (insurances on jobless, disease, retirement, housing found).
