Huntsman’s Advanced Materials division is now looking for a Senior Planner & Product Administrator. This role is an individual contributor, located in Huntsman Panyu Site, Guangzhou.
EHS and Compliance 61 Ensure full compliance with Huntsman Corporate EHS standard, business ethics and international trade compliance Key Business Responsibility: Be the owner of APAC inventory management process (50%) 61 Lead inventory projection & performance review with key stakeholders as per IBP working calendar. Drive improvement on inventory projection accuracy. 61 Conduct monthly performance review of problematic inventory including aging/slow-moving/ to be expiring/block stock to ensure execution discipline and quality of outcome as per established process. 61 Monitor weekly inventory change vs. projection, summary the key drivers of change, propose mitigation plan vs. target and escalate exceptional case to manager. 61 Collect data and team inputs to summary and support manager on inventory deck as well as complete monthly stock provision and disposal for approval process Product Administrator: (50%) 61 In charge of NPI SI creation/ change/ deletion according to product life cycle eg. new product phase in, product modification, packaging, labelling or other changes, product phase out etc. to ensure legally compliant and complete the task by target timeline. 61 New product launch: understand new business OPP/Risk to define supply plan including inventory policy, risk assessment and scenario plan for extra inventory approval. 61 Keep regular update with stakeholders on phase in progression and drive completion by target timeline. Carry over full material information to CFR after graduation to normal sales. 61 Own product change management (ECR/ECN), assign task to right owner for sign off and monitor progress to complete by target timeline according to established process. 61 Product trial as per RM/PKG changes: monitoring the qualification progress to meet business requirement. 61 Product transfer: support cost assessment to get approval, coordinate RM preparation and trial 61 Product phase out: propose the deletion date to PPM, monitoring inventory clean up, and delete SI in NPI on time. 61 Review problematic inventory under responsible area. 61 Issue customer letter regarding product statement clarification and product information change Other duty: 61 Assigned task force or global project Skills and experiences required: Education: Bachelor degree or above; Major in SCM preferred or planning experience Experiences: 61 Min 5-years experience in planning/material management 61 Strong data analysis and familiar with Power BI is preferred. 61 Working knowledge in chemical industry an advantage 61 ISO 9000 QM/TS16949/SOX knowledge is preferred Know-how/skills: 61 Strong mindset of process-driven; 61 Able to execute standard operational processes 61 Supply Chain knowledge on MRP/ERP 61 Good communication and influence 61 Excellent communication skills in English 61 Strong understanding of NPI process.
