Purpose of position: 1. A key member of purchasing team, ambassador of SQA mission, culture and needs within the BL functions 2. Lead the Supplier Quality performance within the business line, in development as well as in production 3. Deploy BL strategy, Magneti Marelli Policies and Procedures and tools within the Purchasing & Supplier Quality community 4. Focus on Advance Product Quality Planning activities, strong link with R&D and Quality for key topics, support to customer projects to ensure on time delivery with right level of quality
Job Responsibilities: 1. Guarantee the implementation and for all procured external components the Supplier Selection, APQP execution and on time Final Approval and Safe Launch Concept. Insure the Qualification of new components according to project milestones; 2. Drive SQA Plant Managers in order to achieve the defined Supplier Quality yearly targets, analyze the gaps and generate the relevant actions; 3. Ensure Day to Day Supplier Quality claim management, guarantee follow-up of immediate reactivity on Incidents by the plants through implementation of problem solving methodology; 4. Monitor planning execution as the Actions Plan closure for the Process Audits/Line Review; 5. Drive monthly worst Suppliers; 6. Guarantee the availability and consistency of the reporting; 7. Review periodically with BL management the performance comparing to the objectives; 8. Ensure deployment and application of corporate purchasing processes in all BL locations; 9. Insure application of Central Standard Job Descriptions for SQA Community; 10. Evaluate needs of SDE/SQE resources in all the plants through real workload calculation and hire the people according to the budget; 11. Set up appropriate teams in identifying the needs and developing the right technical and soft skills and push for the training plan execution; 12. Identify key players and set up development/carrier. 13. Visit and/or organize regular meetings with key suppliers for supplier quality subjects and enhance the supplier relationships; 14. Challenge the Commodity in development of new Technologies; 15. Coordinate with other function managers in planning and implementing supplier quality programs
Qualifications: University degree major in Science & Engineering or Management Minimum 10 years relevant working experience in Electronic Manufacturing and automotive area in supplier quality control or engineering. Technology knowledge about Display and Electronic Component The good knowledge of the Quality system, IATF16949, Knowledge of IATF16949 requirements (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA). Strong quality problem solving skill with technical background. Frequently use QC 7 tools Good communication ability in both oral and written English Good team-work spirit with cross-functional team (PUR/R&D/Production/Customer Quality) and strong coordination skill between internal and Supplier High level of self-motivating capability and flexibility to work
