Purpose of position: Be responsible to manage technical development of Display business line products on system requirements & architecture, HW/MECH/Optics, system validation, product validation and deliveries. Lead the design team to accomplish all development missions with high contribution and good economical results complying with Marelli process.
Job Responsibilities: 1. Lead Design to Cost: TPM is responsible to monitor the spending of the R&D during Design Phase 2. Plan project technical activities and staffing: according to team requests about timing and effort, TPM must plan the activities for the whole technical team, including technical review, periodical meeting and additional effort to satisfy ASPICE or Cybersrcurity or Functional Safety requirements where applicable 3. Organizes regular team meetings, assigning and following up task to team members (e.g. action plan); 4. Coordinate internal/external technical activities and resources involved in the project in his/her competences areas: TPM must keep trace of Internal and Customer technical Issues and assign to the right team the activities. 5. Ensure compliance with customer requirements: TPM must verify that all the requirements from customer are satisfied, monitoring the development plan, the validation plan and delivery plan. 6. Guarantee achievement of objectives in terms of time, quality and costs : From Offer Phase to SOP, the planning of the activities must be guaranteed as well as the quality targets and the processes (ASPICE, SAFETY…). Cost monitoring but also solutions to save more in development phase and share ideas with manufacturing for saving production cost 7. Track and submit reports on project technical progress; keeps updated list of actions and monitors their completion progress (List of Open Points), writing meeting reports. 8. Support the Project Manager in aligning budget and resources needs and managing the specific Product development risks: Risk management includes also the definition of the actions and the owner to reduce the risks 9. Ensure the delivery of Prototypes to the Product Development Team and to the Customer (Engineering): In the early phases of development, TPM must involve also Test Engineers to plan and perform the Customer delivery Sample test. This is with support of PM who has the same interest for production. 10. Support Project Manager in Change Request as far as the Product is concerned in term of technical, cost and scheduling impact; 11. Support Product Development activities; 12. Agrees with R&D, validation and self-qualification plans, monitoring progress and ensuring corrective actions 13. Compliance of her /his activities with applicable quality procedures and standards 14. Support the manager in the monitoring and continuous improvement of the quality system of the areas of her/ his competence. 15. Other works given by leader or manager
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor or above degree major in Automation / Automotive / Communication / Optoelectronics, or a related field 2. Project management skill is must and be able to manage cross RD sections to meet customers timing, cost and quality level. 3. Display product design/development background, having knowledge on industrial/automotive products 4. >=3 years of professional experience, preferable with project management experience in the display industry 5. Must be curious on all kind of technology like HW, Mechanics, Optics, Validation, Delivery, etc. 6. Have experience in technical strategy design, one or more of the following tools: JIRA, DFMEA, Functional safety, Cybersecurity, ASPICE, … will be in advance 7. Fluent English communication skills 8. Synthetic and precise, organized, working on detail 9. Customer orientation, Willing to travel, Able to work under pressure (limited resource and time) 10. Knowledge and skills about ISO 14001, ITAF 16949 11. Have passport and driver license, willing to travel
