Job Summary: This job is to ensure all department KPIs are achieved and objectives are met. This position is responsible for the department safety, quality and operation related to machinery. This job also looks for opportunities to improve AU, reduce Loss and reduce repair and maintenance spending.
Major Responsibilities:
This job is responsible for maintaining the overall facility as well as other facility infrastructure functions.
He/She will also ensure that all engineering aspects of infrastructure as well as associated
documentation is in compliance with local and Colgate QLT, legal and EHS regulations.
Additionally the facility engineering is responsible for managing the MRO (Materials, Repairs and Operating Supplies) program and identifying other potential opportunities for margin improvement.
He/She will build relationships with Quality and EHS departments, as well as outside consultants and suppliers to ensure the business and technical objectives of all projects are satisfied.
The facility engineer will supervise maintenance technicians. He/she ensures adequate staffing to perform the assigned functions and manage the operating budget for these functions.
Join the plantwide control committee representing the ENG department, to conduct the plantwide project such as upgrade the PLC and help to sustain cyber security per CCTV network.
Help to maintain the ISO50001 Energy certification renewal.
Required qualifications
Education/ Experience:
BS Degree in Engineering; MS in a technical field. A Professional Engineer (PE) license would be a plus
1-2 yrs experience in facility engineering with production management experience
Familiarity with Company practices related to EHS, Quality and Microbiology.
Prefer to have the ISO50001Energy certification application related experience.
