[Role Objective]
You will be responsible for setting up a new laboratory, managing the laboratory, and maintaining Grohe and AS US test qualities. You will lead global collaboration by reporting to the Global Knowledge Laboratory. You will also conduct tests with engineers and lead collaboration with local suppliers regarding test standards.

[Key Responsibilities / Duties & Responsibilities]
1. Lead the establishment and daily operations of the new test laboratory in Guangzhou, ensuring alignment with LIXIL’s strategic objectives and compliance with safety regulations & industry standards
2. Maintaining existing and developing new test rigs as well as central facilities of the lab, such as the water and energy supply
3. Inspection equipment monitoring and coordination of external companies and service providers from software to water sampling
4. Plan and track required budget for maintenance activities, invest in new equipment and external tests with cooperation partners
5. Focus on supporting collaboration with suppliers, ensuring that all new products meet the specific requirements for Grohe products and other LIXIL products.
6. Perform hands-on testing and analysis of new products to validate performance, durability, and compliance with regulatory standards

[Job Specifications (Experience & Knowledge)]
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in laboratory testing
3. Good experience with measurement technology and test equipment monitoring required
4. Good knowledge of English
5. Knowledge of testing procedures in the plumbing industry is desirable
