工作内容: 1. Oversees the establishment of appropriate testing programs and the coordination of laboratory activities within the designated laboratories. 2. Identifies and pursues the development of requirements for test procedures beyond the scope of existing standards and requirements involving unique features and requiring the use of independent judgment. 3. Manages the development and maintenance of state-of-the-art laboratory equipment. 4. Establishes and maintains the test proficiency training program and competencies for laboratory personnel. 5. Manages the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to. Implements policies, procedures, and practices mandated for the laboratories to ensure compliance to ISO 17025 as well as other defined accreditation requirements for the designated laboratories. 6. Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job utilizing the Lean Sigma approach. 7. Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. 8. Performs other duties as directed.
任职资格: 1. University degree in Engineering or related field plus generally 5 years of related experience including at least 3 years of relevant management/leadership experience. 2. Demonstrated ability to manage department objectives, staffing and budgets. 3. Detailed knowledge of performance testing for HVAC product. 4. Detailed knowledge of industry development and understands customer needs. 5. Being familiar with standards and regulations for DOE, EPA, CSA, ERP….is preferred.
