· To build up a lean, efficient, and strong transportation and Customs operation team at regional level o Leverage the resource (facility and people) across the SE entities with streamlined process at the same territory o Coach and cultivate team members with strong T&C professionalism, competency, and market intelligence o Establish a T&C territory talent pool achieving sustainable business improvement and robust people back-up
· To ensure the strong governance and policy consulting of China customs operations
o Interface with global customs representing China to ensure a well-aligned strategy in customs and compliance o Define a process and practical flow to ensure the 100% compliance for GSC China customs operations o Work out comprehensive operational criteria for the selection of the right logistics vendors to ensure the service quality
· To achieve the GSC T&C Targets in the Territory assigned by China and Global
o Technical Productivity (Cost Saving) o Service Quality: OTDCC, OTDT, Damage, DCR o Customs compliance to avoid the risks to Schneider o Lead time reduction through either network re-design or preferential policy application o Escalation resolution and risk / event management o Sustainability through greener transportation and operation o Build up multiple transportation modes to bring right alternatives
· To work out a territory Winning Plan for both of short term and three year through:
o Insight of the pro & cons of the as-is T&C operations o Quick win solutions and 3-year strategy o Bold innovation & right transformation o Integrated solutions with the rest of territories across China as business owner o Collaborative with the rest of regions across Global for import & export
· To accomplish the high customer satisfaction and increase the loyalty
o Strictly deploy the standardized process defined by central team and achieve sustainable service quality o Design a robust communication and operational flow for strong territory ownership and response to stakeholders o Work out meaningful tailor-made solutions upon the territory specified customer / stakeholder needs o Lead the team to achieve best practices oriented by customer satisfaction to contribute the success to the entire GSC China o Close interlock with both of internal and external customers to meet the true needs and meanwhile influence the customer right expectation by a right way
· To drive continuous improvement o Vendor management and partnership enhancement with a strategic win-win scenario o Upskill internal team members and external vendors with a learning culture o Digitalization to free up the energy and pave the way for further development o Lead and develop the team toward right Schneider culture and core value with a growth mindset o Dare to disrupt by digging out those potential risks / optimization opportunities in the existing operational flows by the strong business insights Raise the bar / target every year with a right pro-active process and planned roadmap project by project, a good example of SE IMPACT core values
Education: Bachelor above degree with fluent English language, major in supply chain / logistics / transportation is preferredBottom of Form Job Related Experience: At least 5 years as transport and custom operations experience in multinational Manufacturing company or logistics company Business Understanding: has rich transportation and Customs operations related specialized knowledge, familiar with transportation markets, market players and Customs policies Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills): Computer skills, good at using of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of the SAP, OTM and Manhattan systems Presentation skill Analytical and Communication skill Customer oriented Lean experience is preferred Digital competency is preferred
