The role: The objective is to achieve the personal care market sales target in the determined sales area following the company’s strategy by developing new business and maintaining the existing markets. 1) New business development and maintenance of existing markets 73 A constant effort will have to be made to ensure the development and profitability of the business targeted by praising adequately the advantages of SGD products in comparison to our competitors. 73 The sales manager collects market information (markets orientations, customers and quality of product feedback) and report - make suggestions to appropriate hierarchical superiors. 73 The sales manager must fulfil the agreed sales target. 2) Responsible for adequate follow up of his/ her accounts 73 Follows with assistant elements relating to account management: forecasts, orders, stocks,shipments and deliveries, payments, late payments, claims and quality in relation internally with relevant departments and externally with clients. 73 Proposes adequate quotations and pricing to clients based on the information collected from the plants (costs) and knowledge of the market, with approval of his / her hierarchical superiors whenever necessary. 73 The sales manager negotiates on the name of the company and in agreement with management policy and objectives. 73 Manages his/ her assistants to make sure the company can ensure optimum service to clients. 73 Help appraise service quality perception by participating in organization and collect of yearly satisfaction survey. 3) Technical correspondent of the client, liaison between the plant and the client. 73 Be able to understand technical aspects of glass making and of the business of our clients; to update clients regularly on developments and news communicated by the technical and quality departments of the plant and make appropriate suggestions. 4) Reporting 73 The sales manager will make frequent reports to the management on a diversity of topics (client visits, evolution of business with clients, target achievements, budgets, forecasts, and other relevant information). 5) Others 73 Maintain his/ her workplace and the office in a state compliant with company standards. 73 Ensure back up of his/ her colleagues during their leave. 73 Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows. 73 Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees. 73 Other duties as assigned.
The candidate: 73 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 73 Minium 3 years’ sales experience in the packaging industry or personal care related industry. 73 Having Business development successful case is preferred; having client source of personal care packaging industry is preferred. 73 Sense of responsibility. 73 Target achiever. 73 Be able to travel frequently to represent our company and exchange the right information necessary to the smooth development of the client portfolio; and attend appropriate exhibitions and professional meetings. 73 Fluent English, both in oral and writing expression. 73 Computer literate (knowledge of Microsoft office/ Outlook/ Glassforce)
