.Job responsibilities of a restaurant PURCHASING SPECIALIST . Very good command of written and spoken English and computer programs required . Be part of a team to organize and develop an efficient purchasing system. Responsible to prepare the purchasing flow chart, purchase process documents like Order applications and reports . . Purchasing ingredients and materials: Responsible for the inquiry and procurement of restaurant food ingredients and materials, ensuring the quality and reasonable price of ingredients. . Market research and supplier management: Gain in-depth understanding of market conditions, coordinate internal and external resources, evaluate and manage suppliers, and ensure that purchased ingredients and materials have high cost-effectiveness. . Quality control: Strictly implement the Food Hygiene Law, do not purchase goods that are rotten, spoiled, adulterated with counterfeit goods, or do not match the price, and ensure food safety and hygiene. . Cost control: Reasonably control procurement costs, develop new supply channels, conduct inquiry, price comparison and negotiation, optimize procurement processes, and improve efficiency. . Goods Acceptance to warehouse and Acceptance control . When the goods ordered are delivered to restaurant the purchaser , together with the ordering department receiver, is responsible to check the compliance of the goods with the contract and/or Purchase order, receive the goods and enter them to the warehousing system. . . Data management and reporting: Ensure that all procurement information is fully recorded and traceable, conduct data statistics and analysis, and regularly analyze procurement data reports. . Other tasks: Complete various tasks assigned by the restaurant, including supervising employees, standardizing daily operations of restaurant suppliers, reviewing dish pricing, etc.
