Purpose of position: 1. Ensure complete Process and Product release of new buy components from external suppliers in cooperation with the development team (Project Buyer, PM, R&D, QMP, MFE, SCM…) before the Start of production. 2. Lead the application of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodology performing Supplier project review, process audit and supplier capacity check. 3. Be part of the Sourcing Process. Job Responsibilities: 1. Pilot LCD display /Touch Pane supplier product/process audit 2. Maintain and upgrade display components incoming inspection criteria and procedure 3. Manage the Non-Conforming Complain to suppliers, Lead/follow up supplier corrective actions to close quality issues efficiently and effectively. 4. Monitor performance of supplier quality and act proactively to meet quality excellence target 5. Involve the yearly quality target and supplier strategy definition 6. Support/lead evaluation of potential supplier quality system and improvement actions follow up. 7. Lead Supplier APQP/PPAP activities for local suppliers and approve supplier PPAP. 8. Strongly involve the new product technical review between Development/Engineering and supplier and coordinate the relationships
Qualification: 1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Engineering 2. At least 3 years working experience as designer/engineering/quality role in LCD display industry; or SQE of display /optical engineer in Tier-1 3. Know LCD(TN, TFT, CTP) specification and some key sub-components(PCBA, BLU) quality control, &failure analysis methodology 4. Strong quality problem solving skill with technical background. Frequently use “QC 7 tools” 5. Knowledge of IATF16949 requirements (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CP, MSA). 6. Experience of process audit via VDA6.3. 7. Good communication ability in both oral and written English. 8. Good team-work spirit with cross-functional team (PUR/R&D/Production/Customer Quality) and strong coordination skill between internal and Supplier 9. High level of self-motivating capability and flexibility to work, willing to trip.
