As an EPREL registration and compliance specialist according to Eco-design requirements for EU market, you have to ensure the smooth process of lights products purchasing and import to EU by legal requirements, particularly in terms of EPREL registration, checking of ERP test data, energy efficiency labels, technical data sheet (Instruction manual, Product labels). You will be helpful to our product legal compliance manager with applicable regulations and requirements regarding product safety (focused on electrical products and baby products, etc.). In this context you have to communicate with external suppliers, internal colleagues in Guangzhou office as well as the European Headquarters and 3rd party companies.

Responsibilities:
61 Insert ERP data and documents to EPREL - European Product Registry for Energy Labelling. Handle the procedure completely.
61 Ensure that suppliers deliver required documents to prove compliance of the product with European regulations (such as test reports from 3rd party laboratories, certificates, technical data sheet (correct product manuals and product labels, etc.).
61 Specialist in test quotation with 3rd party labs about the compulsory EU tests for baby products, lighting products or house appliances.
61 Strong communication and coordination with suppliers, with local quality and sourcing department, with import department and product compliance department in Europe.
61 Internal and external support regarding technical questions related to product compliance.
61 Support to reduce “structural problems” regarding product compliance (e.g., reduce recurring mistakes).
61 Support the implementation of new requirements resulting from new regulations.
61 Provide information to suppliers for compliance-related matters.
61 Creating records of compliance activities and updating company records for compliance-related data.
61 Write and present overview lists.


Requirements:
61 A minimum of 5 years experiences in product compliance such as generating testing reports or in a technical area, such as Research and Development, Quality Management or Product engineering for lighting products, House appliances, Baby products.
61 Good knowledge of European directives, standards, norms and product safety regulations in the field of Lighting products, House appliances, Baby products, Household items.
61 Experience and practice in EPREL - European Product Registry for Energy Labelling.
61 Experience in the European testing organization or 3rd Party is an advantage (e.g. T05V, Intertek, BV, SGS, or Waltek, etc.)
61 Good analytical skills.
61 University degree.
61 Excellent communication skills; intercultural understanding and fast learning.
61 Willingness to travel if necessary.
61 Very good English language skills both in writing and talking.
61 Work conscientiously and with the utmost care for every detail.
61 Self-motivated, flexible, well-organized, energetic and efficient, with assertiveness and self-confidence.
61 Ability to work in team and independently.
61 Good computer skills – especially in Microsoft Office.
