Job Overview As a Financial Data Solutions Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data systems that support our core financing platforms. You will analyze complex business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performance data solutions. Your expertise in both finance and technology will enable you to optimize data workflows, enhance analytical capabilities, and ensure alignment with industry regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities - Requirement Analysis & Design: a. Lead end-to-end data development projects for financing platforms, including equity crowdfunding, private equity, debt instruments, and derivatives. b. Analyze business requirements from stakeholders (e.g., product managers, traders, compliance teams) and translate them into technical roadmaps and system specifications. c. Define data models, database schemas, and ETL/ELT pipelines to support transaction processing, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting.
- Technical Expertise: a. Develop and maintain data infrastructure using SQL, Python/R, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and big data tools (Snowflake, Redshift, Spark). b. Optimize existing data pipelines for performance, scalability, and security in regulated environments. c. Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to build analytics dashboards, machine learning models, and ad-hoc reporting tools.
- Financial & Regulatory Compliance: a. Ensure solutions adhere to financial regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA, KYC/AML) and industry standards for data governance, privacy, and transaction transparency. b. Stay updated on emerging financing products (e.g., ICOs, STOs, tokenized assets) and their regulatory implications.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: a. Work closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams to align technical solutions with business goals. b. Prepare technical documentation, project plans, and stakeholder presentations.
Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. - Certifications: CFA Level I/II/III strongly preferred; CPA, FRM, or data certifications (AWS, Google Analytics) are a plus. - Technical Skills: a. Proficient in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) is a plus. b. Experience with cloud platforms, big data ecosystems, and data warehousing solutions is an advantage.
- Industry Knowledge: a. Deep understanding of financing instruments (equity/debt crowdfunding, venture capital, M&A, derivatives). b. Expertise in transaction mechanics, settlement processes, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC filings, MiCA, EMIR).
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (critical for interacting with international clients/stakeholders).
