ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: 61 Utilize GPD (Global Product Development) PEG (Product Engine Growth) process to manage new product development through all stages (Roadmap, Ideate, Converge, Develop, Validate, Launch and Close) that fulfill the business opportunities (timing, customer requirements, and target price), while meeting all applicable codes and standards. 61 Lead a cross-functional team that includes, but may not be limited to, marketing, quality assurance, manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, suppliers to meet the specifications and needs of the customer in the development of innovative, reliable products for the market. 61 Manage multiple projects with GPD platform, or in an aggressive and innovative approach in developing new finished goods, assemblies, and models utilizing a working knowledge of various materials, manufacturing techniques, engineering and quality control practices. 61 According to project scope, plan tasks and milestones through all stages in a reasonable schedule; effectively lead all function teams to complete assigned tasks within schedule; make sure product launch in-store on time. 61 Periodically review and update project status to stuff, senior management and/or executive management; lead team in-depth understanding of all project issue, provide problem solving options, and solve all types of problem on-time. 61 Make estimation and plan product cost, project development budget and capital budget in a good logic of product structure, development and manufacturing; managing project within target price and cost budget; work with Marketing and Finance to manage project finance in health and present data report through all stages. 61 Create and manage new product material in SAP from born, purchasable or manufacturable to 1st load-in launch on time. 61 Utilize project management tools (Microsoft Project) and SAP system through PGE process to maintain and present project health indicators in PPM (Project Portfolio management) system. 61 Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS (10 or less bullets): 61 Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, MBA or advanced degree is preferred. 61 Minimum of 5 years of experience to include engineering / product development as well as project management experience; prior cross-functional development experience is a plus. 61 Minimum 3+ years experience of project management. 61 Plumbing product experience is preferred. 61 Demonstrate strong skill of plan project schedule with tasks and milestones. 61 Excellent written and verbal communication skills for dealing with all levels of staff, customers, suppliers, and operations. 61 Fluent written and oral English . 61 Demonstrated effectively lead/work with multiple functional teams, suppliers from different cultures/countries. 61 Demonstrate strong skill of managing multiple projects concurrently. 61 Demonstrate success managing project from earlier stage to fully launching product in the marketplace is preferred. 61 PMP certified is preferred. 61 With basic project finance knowledge; understand or experienced of dealing with product cost structure, product development budget, etc. 61 Willing to learn new; demonstrate skill of learning. 61 With experience of using SAP or ERP, or equivalent system.
