Job Description:
As a Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for finding, negotiating, and filtering our vendors to ensure that we provide our clients with the most cost-effective and reliable logistics solutions. You will work closely with our sales team to ensure that our pricing is competitive and profitable, and you will collaborate with our operations team to ensure that our vendors meet our quality and service standards. You will also stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure that we are continuously improving our pricing strategies.
Responsibilities:
Find, negotiate, and filter vendors to ensure that we provide our clients with cost-effective and reliable logistics solutions
Collaborate with our sales team to ensure that our pricing is competitive and profitable
Collaborate with our operations team to ensure that our vendors meet our quality and service standards
Analyze vendor performance and negotiate contracts and rates to improve profitability and service levels Stay up-to-
date with industry trends and developments and provide insights and recommendations to management
Attend industry events and exhibitions to build relationships with potential vendors and stay informed of industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics or freight forwarding, with a focus on pricing and vendor management
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in English and another language(s) is preferred
Willingness to travel overseas as needed
