Job Responsibilities: Provides Neapco regional manufacturing operational and cultural leadership. Charged with understanding Global Tier 1 Process and Quality requirements (these include, but not limited to, DVP&R, PV, APQP, PPAP, Core Tools, Change Management, etc.) and assuring deployment/realization with WXQC, SPS and in each manufacturing plant that Neapco partners with now and into the future. Actively promotes and continually drives a culture of continuous improvement in manufacturing and administrative processes at Neapco, WXQC, SPS and other future manufacturing sites. Leads by example and creates and maintains strong partnerships and positive relationships with internal and external team members through open communication, transparency, and performance measurement/feedback. Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution and management. Fosters a “safety ***” culture through training, evaluation, and continual focus, and ensures partner facility and team member compliance with federal, state, and local EH&S laws and regulations. Ensures partner plants are fully operational and maximized in adherence with the company schedule and business requirements, proper human resources are available. Ensures partner plants have the right materials at the right place and at the right time in order to reduce unnecessary excess and result in 100% customer order fulfillment. Plans, organizes, directs, and runs day-to-day operations exceeding planned deliverables, controlling production schedules, and reviewing frequently with partner companies. Assure that Neapco ‘best practices’ are implemented within partner plants to create a global Tier 1 level of operations, quality, and delivery. Maintain positive quality ratings in customer systems/3rd party certifications (ISO/IATF) Develops systems and processes which track and optimize productivity standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure an effective return on assets. Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement. Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to; monitor quality standards of Neapco products. Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives. Determine and implement improvements in production processes. Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement. Perform process/manufacturing audits with WX/SPS on a frequent basis. Other manufacturing management responsibilities as required by management. Qualifications/Skills: Six Sigma Greenbelt preferred; Blackbelt a plus. At least 10-year experience in manufacturing/Engineering field, project management experience is critical. Demonstrated process experience in: Metal turning, grinding, swaging, hard milling and heat treatment; assembly. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong planning, organization, meeting facilitation skill. Knowledge of OEM’s Manufacturing Production Systems Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Certified Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. English proficiency, both oral and written
