I. Job Overview We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us to set up and develop the logistics business. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. You will have the dedication to create and apply an effective business and sales strategy.
II. Roles and Responsibilities ? Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction. ? Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs. ? Arrange business meetings with prospective clients. ? Create and promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives. ? Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines. ? Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc. ? Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support. ? Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers and partners. ? Proven sales track record.
III. Education and Experience requirements ? Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role. ? Minimum 5 years sales experience in logistics industry. ? Bachelor’s degree or above.
IV. Job Skills, Personality and Competencies for this position ? Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). ? Knowledge of Cargowise and Salesforce is highly desirable. ? Strong connections with overseas Partners. ? Able to identify business opportunities and have good market knowledge. ? Good knowledge of e-commerce and freight procedures. ? Excellent communication skills and self-motivated ? Good command of verbal and written local and English language. ? Presentable & flexible. ? Strong multi-tasking skills. ? Able to work under pressure.
