Responsibilities:-
1. Provides seasonal fabric directions from mills and best sellers / production fabrics of other clients.
2. Study forecast on WGSN etc. and present fabric trend report/books for upcoming seasons to design offices.
3. Conducts new mill research, Assesses existing and new vendor for a sourcing matrix.
4. Market fabric intel. - Identifies new fabric opportunities / cost drivers and share fabrics with design offices regularly.
5. Work across departments to construct and maintain a core fabric matrix with corresponding costs.
6. Reviewing Trend reports and recommending fabric collections against it within the timeline.
Essential Skills Required:-
1. Knowledge of fabric design, fabric, yarns, knit, woven construction, and print techniques.
2. Knowledge of global fabric trends .
3. Knowledge of time and action calendars. Have a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing task.
4. Ability to work across teams and departments . Ability to work in a flexible environment.
