Be responsible for the purchase of equipment, components, material and service based on work assignment (develop and execute PPP, send RFQ, evaluate bid tabs, issue PO, contribute to projects’ cost, delivery time and risk reduction while maintaining the required quality; ensuring that supplier claims and back charges are followed through). Establish and maintain cost breakdown, cost analysis and database based on work assignment. Follow up and summarize information related to the supply/demand market,price trend and suppliers’ workload. In coordination with Category Buyers, Global Category Managers and Proposal procurement Manager, provide price information for key equipment during project proposal phase by inquiry to supplier, making commercial comparison and market analysis. Ensure the quality and delivery of the purchased equipment, component, material and service meet the project and manufacturing requirement. Be responsible for dealing with any purchasing issues (including quality issues) related to the execution of the PO, and coordinating with the supplier and other departments of E&C China. Support to deal with NCR related to suppliers and follow up till closing NCR. Participate in project procurement capitalization meetings and make project suppliers’ performance evaluation. Keep proper relationship and communication with suppliers, collect feedback from suppliers and provide support to supplier management. In coordination with Category Organization, be responsible for management and renewal of frame agreement.
Qualification:
Academic / Professional Qualification: University undergraduate or above, engineering is preferred, Management Degree in Procurement/ Supply Chain Management/ Global Sourcing will be an additional advantage; Working Experience: 2 years or more of Project Management/ Engineering/ Procurement experience in a mid-sized or above company (multinational EPC company is preferred) Expertise / Skills: Good English and Good negotiation & communication skills and team working ability & spirit Personal Attributes: Positive and open minded, have good team work spirit, rigorous and have a sense of responsibility, warm-hearted and strong willing to learn
