Corporate Unit: North Central China Working Location: Hangzhou Reporting to: Ocean Freight Manager and Ocean Sales Manager Sales Territory: Hangzhou Independently drive business in cooperation with local sales support and operation. Acquire business from new customers, develop new business and maintain relationship with existing customers to achieve sales goal for the sales territory, Hangzhou.
Specific Account-abilities
61 Identify Ocean business opportunities in the sales territory of Hangzhou. 61 Gain business with new customers (close the deal!) and additional business with existing clients. 61 ‘Own’ your customers and maintain/strengthen customer relationship. 61 Provide quotations and business solution support to your customers. 61 Know your clients, their industries, market potentials, competitors. 61 Do frequent customer visits (customer penetration) to ensure positive market visibility. 61 Align with KAM/RDM and PM on the respective strategies. 61 Create sales leads for overseas. 61 Ensure TWNS system is always updated according to TWNS SOP. 61 Coordinate the resolution of business issued with stakeholders. 61 Ensure agreed DSO/overdue levels are in control; manage credit applications for own clients. 61 Actively communicate to clients & internal stakeholders on all customer related topics. 61 Maintain Sales Pipeline & CRM system 61 Achieve agreed GP based on regional targets 61 Achieve 30 Sales Calls per week 61 Achieve other Individual target defined by subregional sales managers
Skills Required 61 Knowledge of Ocean Freight Forwarding 61 Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
Experience and Qualifications 61 Minimum college degree 61 Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in the industry 61 Analytical skills to solve complex problems 61 Strong writing and oral communication skills 61 Advanced experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio) 61 Fluent business Chinese and good English knowledge (oral and written) required 61 Be able to travel frequently within the territory of Hangzhou.
