RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Support sourcing to build a network with strong material capabilities 61 Audit material sourcing & develop capabilities for all T1 factories. Take advantage of T1 experience, capabilities, network, and workforce for material sourcing development. 61 Work in close collaboration with IOF Vendor Sourcing to adjust allocation based on material toolbox availability or adjust Toolbox to fit the product allocation. 2. Manage T1 and T2 suppliers towards excellence in material 61 Check and guarantee that all necessary material processes are in place to secure optimum quality and quantity for our 3 price levels including material testing during development and bulk. 61 Eliminate material quality and delivery risks with effective corrective action in the early stages. 3. Build an INTERSPORT material toolbox in collaboration with the product development team 61 Build an up-to-date understanding and knowledge of material & product trends, material & product functionalities, norms & regulations, evolution of manufacturing tools/process. 61 Delegate material developments to T2 Suppliers. 61 Work in close cooperation with the T2 Supplier labs to secure physical material quality and compliance. 61 Anticipate material development in pre-season and cascade to T2 Suppliers for Toolbox improvements. 61 Actively contribute to material briefing from Product Development during pre-season and cascade to T2 suppliers. 61 Achieve material target cost for quality expectations during pre-season preparation to cover all product ranges and levels. 4. Support product development teams 61 Provide technical solutions to support DFM in collaboration with Product Development team and T2 suppliers. 61 Find technical solutions/options to reduce material cost & reach product target prices within acceptable quality standards & compliance level. 61 Provide material recommendations, solutions, and options to the Product Development Teams to be able to reach product development targets in terms of buying prices, product quality and product specifications. 61 Negotiate on seasonal prices with T2 suppliers based on seasonal volume assessments. 5. Secure material development to support otif 61 Secure bulk material lab-dips/strike -off approval for material production deadline. 61 Monitor/Manage T1/T2 factories to get material available for developing samples on time including SMS. 61 Verify material lab-test reports before material delivery & implement CAP early in process. 61 Guarantee a consistent material quality throughout the product lifecycle: SMS & Bulk. 61 Work closely and in full transparency with PMD to provide up-stream CAP for material quality deviance and /or potential delay in material development including lab-dips. KEY REQUIREMENTS 61 Experience in textile/fabric development 61 Experience in textile/fabric sourcing, and find suitabale T2 factories for company 61 Knowing cost breakdown of different textile/fabric, and good at price negotiation. 61 Solid presentation and communication skills 61 Open-minded, result-oriented and adapt to change. 61 Willing to go for business trip
