Principal responsibilities — Responsible for designing instrumentation and control system of the process plants by preparing related technical specifications based on IMS processes & work instructions. — Responsible for issue requisition inquiry and purchase for instrumentation and control devices. — Responsible for reviewing the external technical documents and drawings. — Responsible for workshop inspection for I&C devices. — Responsible for jobsite service on I&C system. — Report/raise technical issues with recommended solutions to the lead engineer/line manager. — Discuss and negotiate the discipline technical issues with clients, partners and suppliers. — Responsible for design engineering schedule and quality of the deliverables. — Ad-hoc assignment from line manager.
Required qualifications/experiences — Bachelor’s degree or above in instrumentation/automation discipline or others related. — Execution of more than 2 low complexity projects and participation in minimum 1 medium complexity project. — Preferable with international engineering execution experience. — Accomplish low to medium complexity project tasks under guidance. — Good team-work. Hard working with strong sense of responsibility for work. — Skillful in using Microsoft office, internet and be capable of using discipline specific IT tools/software. — Good facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills. — Can present with English in technical meeting with other regions/suppliers.
