Day to Day Responsibilities: 61 Install new equipment and create maintenance processes for all the equipment in the plant, in collaboration with the specific process leaders. - Identification of appropriate activities, frequency, and methods for those - Creation and population of maintenance databases - Training of maintenance workers 61 The maintenance mechanical engineer will monitor process using audits and data to confirm whether equipment meets performance expectations. Work with operations and engineering teams to solve problem if needed. 61 Keep detailed maintenance metrics to identify the areas where potential improvement opportunities are, and to ensure strict compliance to schedules. 61 In troubleshooting for possible equipment or process issues, maintenance mechanical engineers will be integral part in operation to address root causes using rigorous methods. 61 Support experiments where equipment modifications may require maintenance teams. 61 Deliver improvement projects to achieve objectives in quality, uptime, cost and capacity. 61 Supports plant growth through equipment installation, documentation, and training, including close interactions with plant operations and engineering. 61 Train operators, shift leaders, managers, and other engineers on maintenance best practices. 61 Weekend and shift coverage could be required as needed.
Education & Experience: 61 Bachelor or higher in mechanical engineering. 61 5+ years of experiences in mechatronics device development working as mechanical engineer 61 Project management and equipment development experience preferred. 61 Experience in troubleshooting on equipment, especially related with process issue a strong plus.
Required Skills 61 Strong sense for safety, process control and process discipline. 61 Familiar with mechanical design and root cause analysis ability. 61 Skilled in CAD/Solid works or related design software, have a strong hands-on ability 61 Familiar with the mechanical manufacturing process and drawing 61 Advanced in mechanical system of mechatronic devices and valves 61 Mastery in mechanical design of mechanical system, common parts, hydraulic elements 61 Mastery in common standards of mechanical design and valves used in equipment 61 Advanced in common material, mechanical processing, and assembly 61 Advanced in applying DFMEA and other common methodologies to do technical analysis 61 Average in Lean and TPM development 61 Strong analytical skills, including spreadsheets, but also with statistical software. Ability to present analysis in front of groups. 61 Good problem-solving ability with DMAIC, Lean and Six-Sigma methods, special emphasis on root cause analysis tools (fishbone, 5-why). 61 Good Oral/written English communication skill. 61 Computer skills (working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office).
