Responsibilities and job description: 1. Coordinate the development team ensuring technical activities during the whole development phase, Ensure the validation coordinating with all the technical references involved in the projects. Focus on validation in compliance with the milestones of the program (DV1, DV2, PV, PPAP, APQP) to have a robust and competitive product in term of performance, quality, cost . 2. In charge of the prototype and OTS development & delivery on MM product to customer and subcomponents prototype & OTS approval to supplier in term of Materials(CAMDS, ELV .etc) , dimensions, functionality and durability test conformity 3. Run the offer study in term of technical definition, virtual simulation, drawing and specification analysis and deviation list, BOM, development cost preparation with support of direct Manager to reach positive technical rating for the order acquisition. 4. Be technical reference for assigned product with customer and internal team (technical chief for WPI and supplier development), take responsibility for the quality of technical documents, drawing, specification, DFMEA, prototype control plan, reports & plans( ELV, design study ,virtual simulation, quality issue dossier , validation, project planning ) release aligning with company strategy and MM standards. 5. Ensure the use of standard design and process solutions as per Design book, Best practices and Lesson learnt as well as Robust design methodologies in advance to the design freezing for each project phase. 6. In Charge of prototype control plan for complete product and related sub-components, support for mass production control plan. 7. Define and track the project timing, tasks, resources and deliverables according to Customers and Magneti Marelli Project activities and procedures. Escalate the critical points to his manager promptly to avoid huge loss and impact of company. Take parts in the project gate reviews (Gx milestones). 8. Participate to Customer meeting in coordination with Program Manager, manage projects problems and solution. Avoid to disclosure sensitive and confidential information to customer or 3rd parties before internal alignment and authorization. Implement and manage project changes to achieve project outputs. Manage project resources allocation with agreement of direct manager. 9. Lead the VAVE & bench mark activities and WCE to be competitive on product 10. Cooperate with hardware and EMS system team to reach the full system target defined on system level ( for example China 6 regulations), give promote reactions and improvements on the corresponded component for system and mechatronic component issues (for example MIU4) if needed
Qualifications and Skills: Mandatory: 1. Bachelor degree, major in Mechanical/BMS Engineering. 2. Good spoken and written English, need often stay in contact with HQ 3. At least 2 years Project Leader or Project Manager experience in automotive components, knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of project management with proper tools. 4. Team leading attitude, enthusiasm, strong desire to contemporarily learn and contribute, communication, negotiation and conflict management skills. 5. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills (DOE, 8D etc). 6. Knows theory of SPC, Profitability Management. 7. Capability to apply APQP, PPAP, FEMA, MSA, IATF16949, Program Management, Cost Control, Product & Industrialization Understanding, PMO. 8. Knowledge of development and industrial process. 9. Ability to clearly write and present project reporting and technical data. 10. Capability for review/release of drawings & specifications and manage/ coordinate the co-design activities with suppliers and partners. 11. Be responsible for the product delivery (e.g. LDD, LIMP, Validation report, DFMEA,IMDS, prototype control plan, technical root cause analysis for quality issues on product )
Well appreciated: 12. Experience in Aluminum and Plastic technology (Die casting process, Plastic molding process), as well as in mechanical machining technology. 13. Basic knowledge of tooling concept and production procedures. 14. Basic knowledge of economics key indicators. 15. The knowledge on EMS system and engine is a plus.
