Job Responsibilities: Responsible promoting safe work environment for Corning and Contractor Construction workers in their assigned Region. Trains and Oversees Site Specific Safety Inspectors . Member of Safety Committee and supports the goals and programs of the Committee. Ensures Construction Project Safety Data is collected and posted: Monthly Project Inspection Report Summaries, Daily inspection data, Monthly Shop Inspections, & Project Work hours. Supports Safety Incident investigations, reporting, and ensures all required corrective action are completed in a time manner. Provides Safety Communication at Communication Meetings. Monitors the completion of required Safety Training. Leads required Safety Improvement Projects. Site Safety Walk. Access to Shops for tracking shop tool check list. Communicating with Plant safety for project management. Education & Experience: BS in safety engineering or related majors. Have 5+ years related working experience. Intermediate Certified Safety Engineer license. Required Skills: Understanding of Mechanical/Electrical/Civil construction safety knowledge. Good communication, coordination, and follow-up ability. Written and verbal communication skills in English, CET Level 6 is preferred. Good discipline (PDPC&5S). Familiar with MS office . Desired Skills: Ability of problem analysis and resolve. Have basic understanding of project management skill. Soft Skills: Ability to work among a diverse group.
