You will apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. You will also need to understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches. As a Global Buyer, you will be responsible for: · Placing and following-up on POs. Contributing to project as a team member or leads small projects. · Managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution, managing problems and scheduling changes including update of ERP and communications to stakeholders. · Advising Functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the own field. · Detecting and signals flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements. · Managing cost targets and identify opportunities for reductions including pricing and inventory management. · Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: · Have a Bachelor in Mechanical or related majors. · Have 3-5 years of experience in Buying-Procurement, ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously · Have good oral and written communication skills in Mandarin and English. · Have good problem solving, interpersonal and leadership skills. · Be a Team player, proactive attitude, flexible to meet tight deadlines and able to perform well under pressure. · Be available to travel up to 50% of the time.
