Position Description
61 Lead the process development and migration for melting process emission improvement and Energy consumption reduction
61 Work with Facility, process design, ESH, Melting technology team, Glass tech and plant engineering team to integrate new technologies with operation tanks to achieve Sustainability target
61 Worldwide manufacturing support for Emission and energy consumption reduction.
61 Execute technical analysis of the melting process and drive to conclusions to promote improved process capability.
61 Lead/Support process standardization, documentation, and governance.

Education & Experience
61 BS degree or above - major in chemical / mechanical engineering or science
61 5 years or above related experience in Corning or chemical / mechanical engineering industry
61 Preferred to have facility background
61 Project leading skill and process development experience

Required Skills
Knowledge
61 Basic knowledge of thermal and/or chemical process
61 Experiment design and execution
61 Methodology – Six Sigma, DMAIC, Project Skills and so on
61 Data analysis experience – Statistical knowledge, data science tool kit is a plus.

Desired Skills
61 Mature communication skills and team leadership
61 Problem solving and decision making.
61 Hands-on experience in fab is a plus.

Soft Skills
61 Good communication and coordination skills in Chinese and English.
61 Positive attitude and interpersonal skills
61 Keen for challenge the goal and work under high pressure
61 English proficiency : TOEIC 550 is a plus
