Day to Day Responsibilities:
61 Lead capital projects:
- Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless and safe execution of projects. Safety must be a top priority on all projects.
- Manage risks and contingencies to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Conduct efficient and timely communications meeting/updates to project team members, steering team and stakeholders.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- With finance, close activity codes, do goods-receiving, and capitalize assets.

61 Cross functional support:
- The expansion team will have a range of projects going at any one time; this role will be expected to work with other project managers and flex as needed to support overall expansion needs.

61 Start-up leader and process integrator:
- Overall startup leader to coordinate all process area equipment start-up, manufacturing process integration and process set up for production operations.
- Demonstrate mass production capability to meet hand-over criteria and collect data for review with key stakeholders to obtain approval for hand-over.

Education & Experience
61 B.S. or M.S. in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical)
61 5-7 years in manufacturing engineering and/or project management Glassmaking experience strongly desired
61 Experience living, working and/or extended traveling outside of home country or dealing with foreigners is a plus.
61 Working experience in multi-national corporations and managing a global diverse team of people from different countries and background is a plus.
Required Skills
61 Solid project management skills with some proven track record of successful execution.
61 Proficiency in fundamental project management and engineering concepts with demonstrated ability to apply to solving manufacturing problems.
61 Able to collaborate with varied levels and functions within the organization, including manufacturing, technology, R&D, operations, procurement, IT, and supply chain.
