1. Lead Operations Quality (in manufacturing sites), Customer Quality, and Supplier Quality organizations within the local region. 2. Support ZAMA's transformation to a Zero Defect Quality Mindset by translating strategies into goals and executable actions for areas of responsibility. 3. Drive continuous quality improvement in both high volume manufacturing and high mix/low volume environments as well. 4. Drive effective collaboration within ZAMA China to insure we are properly servicing our customers (internal and external) to deliver expected responsiveness and avoid escalations. 5. Work closely with Product Development teams and Operation teams to ensure new products launch on time while meeting the stated quality goals for the program. Improve hand-off from development into serial production. 6. Manage regional quality budgets to insure we are delivering Quality support at a cost within the committed annual plan. 7. Identify and address gaps related to all aspects of product quality (e.g., quality systems, people), including opportunities for ongoing innovation and improvements. 8. Ensure that all manufacturing product specifications are developed and testing procedures are in place before starting up vendors/subcontractors. 9. Assure all regulatory compliances in related to QMS, industry, and products/marketing requirements. 10. Develop organizations and his/her subordinates to take on increased responsibility, improve performance, and work more autonomously. 11. Support customer and supplier quality related issues and escalations.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in a technical area, preferably engineering with at least 10 years of applicable experience. A Master’s degree is highly desirable. 2. Minimum 10 years of experiences with plant quality, with at least 5 years in Quality department managers /director's role in multinational invested company. 3. Excellent leadership and organizational skills. 4. Has the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments. 5. Demonstrated a track record of driving continuous quality improvement (examples reduce PPM, customer events, cost of quality, etc.) in a dynamic manufacturing environment. 6. Good understanding in related to Quality System requirements such as IATF16949, AS9000, ISO9000 and has proficiency with APQP tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, PPAP, etc. 7. Has a functional knowledge of Six Sigma methodology and associated root cause analysis tools such as 5-Why analysis, A3, PCDA, fishbone diagrams, is/is not analysis, etc. 8. Able to communicate technical information effectively both in writing and verbally to all levels in the organization. 9. Maintains composure in challenging situations.
