Key Responsibilities ·Responsible for the product design & development of the shock absorber. ·Analyze and measure the OE benchmark samples, based on OE samples to do the reverse engineering, modify and approve design for the in-house plant or the supplier. ·Follow up with new product development status and validation test status. ·Follow up with new product sample-making status and assist on vehicle fitment and road test work.
Qualifications (Education/ Experience/ Key Competencies) ·Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical or automotive engineering or equivalent. ·Minimum 5 years working experience of automotive chassis product development work. ·Have the experiences of shock absorber development will be preferred. ·Practical experience with at least one actual 3D CAD such as Catia, Excellent experience with AutoCAD. ·Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, GT&T, FMEA and failure analysis. ·Analytical trouble shooting and problem solving (root cause analysis, effective problem solving, etc.). ·Writes business correspondence, technical specifications, test reports, etc. ·Possess basic project management skills. ·Good communication skills and accountability ·Good English both in oral and written would be an advantage. ·Self motivated and can work independently.61 ·Apply new part number and upload official drawing to GPDM system. ·Support other functional departments to solve any issues relating to AM products. ·Assist sales & training team to confirm the product related technical details. ·Validate technical and design specs for new products imported from other regions. ·Communicate with global engineering colleagues to confirm the product designs for products to be exported to overseas markets.
