We are looking for several Chemists or Material Scientists with variable degrees of experience to support our growth. In these key roles, as part of our research and development team, you will create value to our customers by enabling and enhancing their integrated circuits and components. You will design synthesis processes and conduct laboratory experiments and analyses to develop new products. Depending on your background and seniority, project management can be a part of your duties and you will be responsible for overall progress of the project. Your work includes reporting to management and customers. To succeed in this role, you should be a dynamic individual with a solid technical background.
Your task will include:
61 Execute and manage research and development projects.
61 Design, plan and synthesize new materials for use as photoresist materials in fabrication steps for semiconductors.
61 Develop efficient production routes and scale-up methods for materials to be commercialized.
61 Use statistical data analysis in new material development and testing.
61 Compile development results into comprehensible summaries.
61 Report and communicate research findings internally as well as to partners and customers globally.
61 Guide other technical staff to complete tasks and mentor their development.
Desired skills and abilities:
61 A strong, dynamic, and positive work ethic.
61 Effective communication and good interpersonal skills.
61 M.S. level education or more than a 5-year experience in polymer synthesis, purification and analysis, and photocatalyzed reactions, background with photoresists a significant benefit.
61 Demonstrated skill in organic or polymer chemistry. Experience in organosilicon chemistry are seen as benefits.
61 Demonstrated skill in lab equipment such as NMR, GC, GPC, GC-MS, DSC, TGA, etc.
61 Solid skill set, including practical hands-on experience, in organic chemistry synthesis, purification and characterization methods.
61 Good team spirit and a solid team player.
