The Manufacture Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety within the plant. The Manufacture Engineer works to ensure all processes and tools are functioning optimally while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with inspection procedures. Additionally, the role involves the design and development of tooling, as well as responsibilities related to quality engineering, including quality issue analysis, inspection work instruction updates, and training of inspection personnel.Lead the project and conduct with the supplier to evaluate and develop automation with new technologies implemented based on Lean concept in building up the production line, material flow, layout with high efficiency and UPPH, from automation concept proposal, machine selection, process design, process parameter validation to equipment release.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Process Development & Optimization 1) Design and develop new processes or modify existing ones to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality. 2) Conduct process capability studies and take actions to enhance process performance. 3) Perform root cause analysis for process-related issues and implement corrective actions. 4) Optimize process parameters to reduce waste and improve production yield.
Tooling Design & Development 1) Responsible for the design and development of production tooling to ensure it meets process and product requirements. 2) Optimize existing tooling to improve its efficiency and safety. 3) Ensure proper use and maintenance of tooling, regularly evaluate tooling performance, and propose improvements. 4) Work closely with manufacturing and maintenance teams to ensure tooling meets production demands.
Continuous Improvement 1) Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on lean manufacturing principles, particularly in the areas of process, tooling, and quality control. 2) Identify and manage process, tooling, and quality system changes through proper change management procedures.
Process Control & Troubleshooting 1) Monitor key process parameters and ensure all equipment and tooling operate within defined specifications. 2) Troubleshoot and resolve process and tooling issues to minimize downtime. 3) Collaborate with quality and maintenance teams to address any process or quality-related issues.
Project Management 1) Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving production processes, introducing new technologies, and developing tooling. 2) Ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to, maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Training & Development 1) Provide technical support and training to operators and inspection personnel on process, tooling, and quality aspects, ensuring a thorough understanding of production flows and inspection requirements. 2) Work with the HR team to ensure operators and inspectors are continuously trained on the latest processes, tooling, quality control procedures, and standards.
Quality Related 1) Analyze quality issues and collaborate with relevant teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. 2) Update and maintain inspection work instructions to ensure they reflect current production processes and quality standards. 3) Review and revise control plans, ensuring that they align with customer requirements and regulatory standards. 4) Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects and improving product reliability. 5) Provide training to inspection personnel on updated inspection work instructions and quality control procedures. 6) Ensure that inspectors are equipped with the necessary skills nd knowledge to perform accurate and effective inspections.

* Bachelor’s degree, 6+ years’ experience as Process, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineer. * Experience in identifying and resolving process, tooling, and quality issues. * Experience in process, tooling development, and quality control, including process optimization, tooling design, and troubleshooting. * Experience in project management, especially projects related to production, process, tooling, and quality improvement. * Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to quality management systems and standards.
