61 Serve as a Technical Resource: Conduct training and enforce policy in the areas of root cause analysis and corrective action, data analysis, statistical process control and Quality systems. 61 Data Analysis & Report Generation: Identify, implement and maintain systems, tools and metrics that track key components of quality / cost of quality both internally and at suppliers. Full understanding of statistical data, and excel. Able to pull information from inspection data, test rack files and put the data in into a useable format to analyze, using formats such as histograms, pareto charts, fishbone chart, to achieve Quality metrics of CPPM/CoQ/FTT/SPPM/CQC. 61 Champion for Safety. Safety focus is critical. Responsible for continuous training/education initiatives with intent to eliminate recordable and /or lost time injuries. Also responsible for housekeeping in accordance with 5S principles. 61 Strong Team Player and Contributor. Able to work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high pressure atmosphere. Combines strong attention to detail with an orientation toward results/execution. 61 Customer Failure Analysis . Quality engineers analyze the test bench or field failures to classify them as design, manufacturing or supplier issues. Establish a standard problem solving process to working closely with production to solve the problem in a timely manner. Obtain the test data on test bench or D&Ts of components for analysis with suggestions from engineering. Complete the relevant quality documents. 61 Conduct Quality and Production Audits. Conduct production line audits to verify compliance to established standards and processes including gage, oil cleanliness, assembly tools, valve cleanliness and documentation. Ensure honing controls and gages are in place and operational. Review and audit production documentation to make sure all documents are controlled and updated. 61 Customer Service: Drive necessary actions to surpass both the customer and internal UFI metrics. Support customer quality meetings and discussions. Take the lead in organizing and facilitating customer quality related visits/audits. Drive, validate, report, present and sustain customer corrective actions in accordance and in harmony with the timeliness and format requested by the customer. Provide clear and timely returned material analysis feedback to customers for all issues. 61 Capacity Analysis: Perform periodic reviews of line capacity when increases in customer demand are communicated. Share details with Program team if additional capacity needs to be added to equipment or supplier.
