Tasks and Responsibilities: 1) Specify and design HVAC electrical systems for transportation application (e.g. rail/bus): Review and evaluate customer requirements, transfer into technical specifications, draft design documents; 2) Establish & maintain up-to-date electrical system knowledge and technical trends in regard of railway and similar HVAC technology incl. related technical standards; 3) Verification and validation of customer specific designs: Draft test specifications and -reports, perform design qualification and support customer audits; 4) Plan and manage the technical (electrical design) part of projects; 5) Control and monitor project implementation process, interlink proactively with relevant stake-holders to achieve desired targets; 6) Write engineering documentation; 7) Assist in sales negotiation, preparation of sales offer or similar sales activities; 8) Analyze system issues and propose technical solutions to superiors; 9) Support supplier selection and qualification; 10) Test and troubleshooting on site for the electrical system; 11) Standardize the electrical design platform; 1) Manage/coordinate ext. activities e.g. at suppliers / test centers 1) Other tasks assigned by superiors. Requirements: 1) Bachelor degree or above; 1) Technical fields, e.g., electronics/ mechanics engineering; 1) Trainings on project management, presentation and communications skills, usage of design tools (CAD), simulation tools etc; 1) Minimum 2 years working experiences in the specification and design of HVAC electrical systems for transportation applications (railway or bus); 1) Knowledge about HVAC electrical system design; 2) Knowledge about general rolling stock design is an asset; 3) Knowledge about local (China) norms and standards is a must; 4) Knowledge about European or USA standards on HVAC electrical design is an asset; 5) Knowledge about quality and risk management during concept and design phase is a must; 6) Knowledge about SW programming is an asset: 1) Fluent Chinese 2) Basic English (read/write) is a must; 3) Fluency in English is an asset: 4) Good communication skills, able to withstand work pressure, team spirit; honesty, integrity, and the courage to face challenges: 1) Cross-cultural competence is an asset.
