Purpose of Job The Supply Chain Tactical Buyer position is responsible for the key Supply Chain business processes and activities that are needed to support the availability of procured materials. This includes the management of: Purchase Order Releases, Inventory Models, Engineering Change,Sourcing Project ,Conformance to Customs and Trade Regulations support, Supplier Capacity Analysis, SAP Parameter Management, and Delivery Performance communication for all assigned suppliers and supporting freight providers. Key Tasks & Responsibilities: 1. Purchase Order Management: Defining and Implementing Communication Media for assigned Suppliers | Define and implement purchase order related parameters | Releasing required production, engineering, project, and sample PO’s as well as STO (if applicable) | Managing Exception Reporting to ensure that the flow of materials are in line with required assembly schedule plans | ASN Implementation and Management | Resolving any receiving hold issues that arise at Danfoss receiving docks | Delivery performance communication for assigned suppliers | Managing materials return 2. Demand Management: Managing and correcting forecasting consumption errors | Working with Global Procurement to ensure that capacity files are in place and of some recent S&OP cycle for High Impact suppliers | Collaboration with external suppliers regarding the stated and changed demands resulting from S&OP cycles | Supply Chain and Operational Business Model changes | As necessary, allocation management for capacity constrained suppliers 3. Inventory Management: Defining the 5DDT assigned suppliers | Ensuring that SAP Parameters are defined to support the TROC Inventory Targets | Managing the flow of materials to ensure compliance to TROC Inventory Levels 4. Engineering Change Management Support: Responsible for establishing and managing implementation dates of required engineering design changes | Communicate implementation schedules and changes with all impacted organizational parties - External & Internal | Follow implementation schedule with supplying source 5. Sourcing Project Management: Facilitates and manage the transition from current to future suppliers for internal and external resourcing projects | Support Danfoss manufacturing localization projects 6. Customs and Trade Compliance: Support Supply Chain Inbound processes are compliant to customs and import regulations | Ensure that the relevant SAP Data are maintained appropriately to ensure compliance to regulations 7. Logistics and Route Management: Responsible within TCO to ensure that the proper mode, lanes, and carriers are established for assigned suppliers | Utilizing the expedited freight process to minimize the need for expedited freight movements Requirements: 1. Have or pursuing a Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field 2. 6-10 years' related working experience 3. English in written and oral
