Key responsibilities: 1. Vendor relationship management: Establish and maintain excellent relationships with appointed vendors. This includes building strong rapport and ensuring effective communication and collaboration. 2. Product sourcing for Make-to-Stock ranges: Identify and source the right products (considering look, value, and performance) from appropriate vendors based on briefings from sales or trend presentations. 3. Product sourcing for Make-to-Order ranges: Source custom-developed products for make-to-order ranges, ensuring all necessary information is obtained upon receiving the request. This includes new patterns and also variations on existing patterns (e.g., recycled versions, blackouts requiring FR standard compliance). 4. Testing process management: Oversee the entire testing process from start to finish: 61 Ensure all updates are recorded on Monday, the server, and MS Teams in a timely manner. 61 Manage test length and test batch lab testing. 61 Follow up on R&D and quality control (QC) inspections. 61 Approve fabric style, hand, look, and color for test length, test batch, and *** bulk production. 61 Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues, providing suggestions for improvements. 61 Ensure all paperwork and required certifications are completed. 5. Timeline management: Monitor and guard the timeline for new developments to ensure timely completion. 6. After-treatment options: In addition to standard after-treatment options, test and develop custom after-treatment options for existing patterns upon request. 7. Technical issue resolution: In case of more complicated technical issues, collaborate with the sourcing and/or QC manager to address and resolve these issues. 8. Vendor exploration and evaluation: Visit potential new vendors and, if there is potential, evaluate and vet these vendors in collaboration with the sourcing manager in a second phase. 9. Price negotiation assistance: Assist management during price negotiations to ensure favorable terms. 10. Others assigned by Manager: Specific projects 11. International travel (Bonus): Occasionally plan and undertake trips to Europe, the US, or Asia (maximum 1-2 times per year) to attend trend shows; Need to be approved by Manager team.
