Act as Account Manager for a number of important customers. Identify / actively create sales opportunities and execute sales activities for the complete range of new machines, plants, test instruments, digital solutions, consulting solutions and (to a certain extent) solutions for the entire installed base. Serve as the primary customer contact for all commercial and technical issues. Analyse customer inquiries regarding time schedule, commercial and technical feasibility. Have technical exchange with customers to identify the best solution, supported by Technical Sales when necessary. Create Quotations for all products handled via Sales Unit that meet customer expectations and comply with technical capabilities of the parent company Koerber Technologies GmbH and Koerber Technologies S.p.A. in Italy. Present the entire range of products and services available by means of standardised power point presentations. When necessary, create tailor-made presentations with specific solutions and present them to customers. Actively involve technical departments for in-depth discussions (and presentations) with your customers when needed. Regularly update the SAP System to reflect all order potentials and offer data including contract signing date, shipping date, date for planned installation and commissioning. Determine and create potential for all products and Services KTE can offer and cooperate with the related department within Koerber in China and the headquarters in Germany, and Koerber Technologies S.p.A. in Italy. 2 Follow up the day-to-day operations in the area of responsibility to ensure highest customer satisfaction. Regularly liaise with Project Managers for successful project implementation. Regular up-date of the SAP-based Customer Relation Management System (CRM). Maintain close customer contact throughout all hierarchy levels and establish a lasting customer relationship by intensive personal customer contacts (e.g. by organising customer visits to KTE or at customer’s side and accompanying customers during their visits to KTE). Act and communicate both within the local Koerber China organization (with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Kunming) as well as the Headquarter in Hamburg/Germany and KTE S.p.A. in Italy. Closely cooperate with those Sales Managers who are in charge of offering and selling solutions for existing machinery and plants (Installed Base). Requirements Training/Qualifications: Work Experience: Other Requirements: University degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical / Electronic preferred. Minimum 2 years working experience with a foreign-owned (Western) Company Minimum 3 years in Sales for machinery Willing to travel extensively within China (10-20 days per month) and sporadically to Europe Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently Ability to socialize with customers to establish a solid relationship Fluent in English (written and spoken!) and Mandarin
