Summary 1) Lead the mechanical design team, 2) Design the equipment for body in white welding line, 3) Monitor mechanical design sub-supplier, 4) Organize and control the design of internal and external, 5) Support Project Management and PEM(Project Engineering Management).
Primary responsibilities 1) The MED is responsible for the assigned work packages, 2) Compliance with all laws and internal rules and standards (e.g. management system), 3) Responsibility for compliance with agreed deadlines, quality and budgets of the assigned design tasks, 4) Receipt of the design task from the PEM, and drafting of the design based on the specified concept, 5) Monitoring of execution (e.g. of assemblies, single parts and parts lists, and layout) based on the relevant requirements and checklists, 6) Drafting specification documents for bought-in components in consultation with the PPM, 7) Overseeing the awarding of design services to external contractors in consultation with the PEM(Project Engineering Management), 8) Support in scheduling materials and initiating material requisitions in close cooperation with the core team, 9) Internal presentation of the design draft, 10) Coordination of design changes/additions in consultation with the core team, 11) Drafting the M-design and all defined documentation and detail documents, 12) Revision of the M-design and design documentation in the case of approved changes, 13) Provisioning of site documentation, and prompt incorporation of on-site changes, 14) On-time provisioning of documentation data for the PEM(Project Engineering Management).
Knowledge & skill requirements 1) Degree of Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor or above) 2) Software skills: Catia, Robcad, AutoCAD, MS-Office products, Microsation 3) Experiences: 2-5 years of BiW(Body in white) welding line mechanical engineering (mechanical design and robot simulation) 4) Skill in English
