Summary 1. Managing the project/project team in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing. 2. Maintaining and monitoring the supply and service package in terms of cost, scheduling and quality. 3. Creating the project structure and developing the specific project plan.
Primary responsibilities 1. In consultation with the customer and the departmental coordinators, and with his/her superiors, the PM assures delivery of the supplies and services agreed with the customer for the project in technical, scheduling and commercial respects. 2. The Project Manager (PM) manages the project assigned to him/her and chairs the core team comprising all the project coordinators. The core team is responsible for processing the assigned project. The Project Manager (PM) as chair of the core team reports to the steering committee (SC)/project sponsor on a project-specific basis. 3. Ensuring efficient and documented project communications within the team and with the related departments. 4. Ensures compliance with deadlines, budgets and quality. 5. Supporting quotation projects. 6. Has access to all relevant project information; assumes decision-making authority for changes, nonconformity, and negotiations with third parties. 7. Ensures on-time delivery of the product to the customer, and on-time final acceptance by the customer. 8. Responsible for regularly updating the internal project schedule and customer master schedule 9. Responsible for compliant execution of full-package contracts
Knowledge & skill requirements 1. Degree of Mechanical Engineering, bachelor or above, 2. Software skills: MS-Office products, Project, 3. Experiences: at least about 3 years of project management related in BIW(Body in white industry and products) 4. Should be reliable, proactive, determined, empathic, courageous and curious. 5. International work ground, good teamwork and good leadship. 6. Good capability of English, good at German would be plus.
