Job Description:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our specialized machinery at customer sites throughout China. Your primary duties will include conducting equipment installations, performing routine maintenance and repairs, delivering operator training sessions, assisting remote troubleshooting from the German based personal, and supporting customers during production startup phases.
Responsibilities:
61Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of specialized machinery at customer sites across China.
61Perform operator trainings to ensure efficient and safe machine operation.
61Provide remote technical support to customers through troubleshooting and diagnostics.
61Assist customers during production startup phases to guarantee a smooth production.
61Collaborate with different teams to address technical issues and improve the service efficiency.
61Creation of service reports and manage customer communications
6150% of your time you will support the operation team, assembly department in Kunshan
Requirements:
61Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field (Mechatronic,…).
61Previous experience in field service engineering or technical support roles, preferably within the machinery or industrial equipment industry.
61You have good knowledge in the areas of Assembly, Electrical Engineering, Pneumatics and Hydraulics as well as Control Technology and Machine Operations
61Strong technical skills to do troubleshooting and resolve complex technical issues.
61Willing to support colleagues on business trips
61Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with good knowledge in English.
61Willingness to travel a lot within China and sometimes internationally – especially Germany for training lessons.
61Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced envionment.
61Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service work.
