The opportunity:
We are looking for Vehicle Dynamics Engineer to join the Tire & Performance Science team to support tire development and vehicle manufacturers through vehicle dynamics investigations and further development of virtual tire development capabilities.

On this position You will:
1 Support Product Development programs through assessment/benchmarking of the performance of tire/vehicle systems through modeling, testing and simulation.
2 Support Technology Development programs through development of new tire/vehicle test and simulation capabilities, enhancement of our predictive technologies using the latest data analysis tools in conjunction with up-to-date data science methods.
3 Further develop the creativity and innovation capacity of the team with a focus on virtual tire development.
4 Cooperate with vehicle OEM’s, external companies and universities to shape our virtual tire/vehicle development process for efficiency, quality and robustness.
5 Cooperate with tire design team and provide recommendations for tire design tuning to meet tire/vehicle performance objectives.

To join our team you will need:
1 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Control Theory, preferably in Automotive field.
2 Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience inside automotive industry (e.g. at a vehicle OEM) or academia for vehicle dynamics.
3 Experience with: numerical methods, data acquisition / analysis software.
4 Practical experience with minimum 1 of below 3:
vehicle modeling and vehicle dynamics simulation software (e.g. CarMaker, VI-Grade, CarSim),
tire modeling and force & moment prediction software (e.g. MF-Tire, CD-Tire, F-Tire),
assessment/benchmarking of performance of tire and vehicle systems.
5 Fluency in verbal and written English.
6 Strong background in vehicle dynamics or related area.
7 Team player with enthusiasm and initiative.
