KONE Procurement is a global organization of purchasing and supplier management experts responsible for direct and indirect material and service sourcing for KONE. We are now looking for a Procurement Specialist to be part of the Mechanics Procurement team in the KONE China Supply Line Direct Material Procurement organization. As a Procurement Specialist, you work on dedicated customer projects together with different stakeholders from supply chain, engineering, and quality. You support projects in achieving their profitability, delivery time, and quality targets by steering the supplier selection for projects, running RFQs, negotiating prices and delivery terms with suppliers, and identifying new savings opportunities. Your main responsibilities: 61 Managing independently all procurement activities such as supplier contract, price, and RFQ management and negotiation for international projects 61 Managing project with domestic suppliers and coordinating project meetings with stakeholders and suppliers, working closely with all the stakeholders to reach agreed targets 61 Coordinate related procurement specialists in or out Mechanics procurement team to support projects when needed 61 Identifying and driving new cost savings initiatives to support our profitability 61 Support to manage supplier quality and on-time delivery in collaboration with the stakeholders 61 Support supply and tendering teams in quotations, samples, and material management processes 61 Report monthly key performance indicators 61 Manage budgets, forecasts, and savings for projects 61 Other tasks assigned
We expect you to have: 61 B or M level degree from a relevant field (e.g., Mechanics, engineering, metal material or supply chain management related) 61 More than 5 years’ work experience in procurement 61 Mechanics experience preferred, ability to read technical drawings 61 Experience in international project procurement and managing supplier relationships with global customers 61 Understanding of the basics of project work and the importance of total cost of ownership, project time schedule, and supply chain. 61 Patiently and carefully, adept at managing projects independently as well as working with other business functions 61 Analytical and strategic thinking 61 Fluent English language skills 61 Clear communication skills and good negotiation skills 61 Willingness to travel on site and supplier visits 61 Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel experience
